NASA's latest Mars rover, Curiosity, is ready for launch this Saturday aboard an Atlas V rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Space Launch Complex 41. Curiosity is the size of a car, about twice the size of previous rovers Spirit and Opportunity. The rover is scheduled to land on Mars in August 2012, after a jouney of 569.7 million kilometres.
